2nd OPEN STUDIO SALE
at the
Rochester Folk Art Guild
Clothing Design Workshop

~ One Day only ~

Saturday, August 8,2009
 ~ 11:00 AM-5:00 PM ~

Last summer's first Open Studio sale was a great success and lots of fun, so we decided to do it again. Come visit us in our studio at East Hill Farm outside of Middlesex, NY. You'll get a sneak peek at our fall line including shawls, some cozy cowl neck pullovers and even a few one of a kind wool jackets making an early appearance. We have a nice inventory of "twisters", the continuous circle shawl that stays in place on your shoulders, in a variety of new fabrics. As always, we use only natural fiber fabrics and will have our ankle pants and tunic tops in 100% bamboo or Tencel in fall colors including a warm brown, olive, bittersweet, and black. Our popular, easy to care for, hemp cotton knit tees are available in both natural and black. We have been at work (play!) in our dye room creating unique embellishments for pieces using stitched, twisted, clamped, and folded shibori techniques.

Plus: Don't miss out on sale prices on clearance items, and special deals on prototype garments.

The Rochester Folk Art Guild Weaving Studio will also have some handwoven and knitted creations available for sale---some with special sale prices for this event.

The East Hill Gallery featuring work from all the Guild craftshops will also be open. Refreshments will be served.

Bring a friend and make a day of it in the Finger Lakes.
